Retro refurbishment lounge - 2 week transformation

Customer requirements: The family were going on holiday for two weeks and they wanted a fuss free contemporary transformation to return to.

Design challenge: Every item had to be removed and replaced for 'new'. The lounge had to be re-plastered to cover artex. New electrics and uplighters. New carpet and curtain treatment (customer wasn't sure what they wanted, apart from modern and no fuss look). Customer wanted bright colours.

• Empty room and dispose of items
• Fit new and replacement sockets and switches(chrome to match the scheme)
• Source, order and arrange delivery of new light oak fire surround. Also remove and dispose of old one
• Re plaster walls and ceiling
• Arrange new curtain treatments (Order fabric and take it with measurements to be made into roman blinds and cushions) then fit
• Arrange to be present for an unknown amount of time to receive deliveries of furniture whilst family were away
• Paint walls and ceilings
• Order and Fit new designer bespoke ceiling pendant and also 3 new wall uplighters at customers request
• Source and purchase new furniture, accessories and soft furnishings
• Arrange, order and fit new carpet
