Playground theme bedroom makeover

Customer requirements: The customer had a 3 year old daugther and was expecting a baby boy. The room needed to be designed to suit both children. There was no suitable furniture in the room as it was originally the master bedroom. The brief was to create a fun, colourful space for their children to sleep and play. A room that would grow with them and would not date.

Our solution:

• A full width and height playground theme mural
• Hand painted kite and foliage on the walls and clouds on the ceiling and bunting
• Hand painted an existing paper lampshade to resemble a hot air ballon and hung a basket on it
• Hand built shelves for storage boxes for toys
• Furniture and soft furnishings to complete the effect
