Customer requirements: Football mad youngster wanted his bedroom to look like the Manchester United dressing room and incorporate a mural as well. We only had 2 metres by 2 metres so it was quite a squeeze getting both looks in.

John hand-built some remote control low voltage floodlights to go over the bed.

The football shirts represent Jamie's favourite players and are made from mounting board and hand painted.

Our solution:

• Fit remote control bespoke LED lighting in the form of floodlights over a football pitch
• Create locker room effect using MDF and wood effect vinyl, including storage bench, wardrobe and coat hooks
• Hang football stadium wall mural, personalised with team colours
• Erect shelves for trophy display
• Fit new roller blind and carpet
• Design, create and display, 3D football shirts, using painted mounting board with football team members names on
